HYDROCAP is a unique crystal-forming dry admix that has been successfully used over many decades to integrally waterproof concrete or masonry and to improve the durability. Installations include foundations, elevator pits, reservoirs, sewage and water treatment facilities, underground utility construction, slabs-on-grade, tanks, and wherever it is necessary to protect concrete from water intrusion. It is suitable for potable water and subsequent finishing applications. ADMIX is composed of portland cement and proprietary chemicals. When added integrally to the concrete or masonry ready-mix, the active ingredients react chemically with free lime in the concrete or masonry ready-mix in the presence of moisture to produce crystalline growth within capillaries and voids of the concrete or masonry. The crystalline growth thus produces a dense, waterproof concrete or masonry. The process of crystalline growth is continuous as long as moisture is present in the concrete or mansory.
